Francia Russell is an American ballet dancer, master, and director. She trained at the San Francisco Ballet school. She has danced with the New York City Ballet and with Jerome Robbins' Ballet U.S.A. She acted as ballet master at the New York City Ballet and Frankfurt Ballet, where she was later appointed Artistic Director. From 1977 until her retirement in 2005, she was the Artistic Director of the Pacific Northwest Ballet.
